I have three paintings that have been selected for this juried exhibition.
Below is one of the paintings that are in the show. The painting trio is part of the official unofficial series called "The Garden Paintings." They are pretty. You are invited to come and see them.

...And a group show next month in Provincetown:

I have had the pleasure of working with Hilary Burkitt for a solo show at her OKO Gallery that once called New Bedford, MA home. Burkitt now puts together exhibitions on Cape. This time around at Gallery Ehva in Provincetown for:

"Younger Than Amy, They Say It's Paradise"

Opening Reception:
June 13th 6-8
Dates: 6/13 - 6/25/14

Gallery Ehva
74 Shank Painter Road
  Provincetown, MA 02657
ph. 508 487-0011

I will have three works in this show. Two paintings and one sculpture. Yes, sculpture. The three works are meant for each other.

Here is one of the paintings in the show:

12" x 12"
acrylic and house paint on canvas
2014

Here is part of my statement for this trio of work. It's a poem of sorts:

Like dye in the water,
and I don't know what to call her,
I wade in the white and in the blue,
from a seed, this imagery grew
Flowers
Water
Maps
I need these things too-
this was an experiment,
and the jury is still out
I forgot the message sent,
and what the paintings are about.

I hope to see you at the opening reception for one or both of these sure to be fine showings of art. Make sure you say hello if you make it!

(this is what I look like)
